Tenant Advocacy Workshops
Are you living in rental housing in the CBRM? Learn about your rights at a tenants’ workshop.
Watch our recorded virtual workshop
Our public workshop series launched Fall 2022 and offered information about tenants’ and landlords’ rights and responsibilities, laws that govern rental housing in Nova Scotia, as well as provided local resource information for tenants to access in Cape Breton. Our public workshop series has concluded, but we now offer a recorded workshop that you can watch here on our website, and we offer workshops for groups on request.
Workshops include:
- Tenants’ rights presentation
- Q&A session with a representative from Nova Scotia Legal Aid
- Feedback session from you: What further tenant advocacy resources are needed in CBRM?
